On March 22, on the press conference of the 6th China
Global Wood Trade Conference with the theme of “Journey to Wuhan, Journey to
Future”, Mr.Liu Guanghui, the Board Chairman of Hubei Fuhan Wood Industry Co.,
Ltd., signed a cooperation contract with Mr.Liu Nengwen, the president of China
Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association about Fuhan’s hosting of
the 6th GWT China Conference.
Liu also extended his warmly welcome to the global wood processors and traders,
"Let's gather together in Wuhan in the coming September to explore a
sustainable development path for global timber and wood products industry from
strategic height and practical problems." he said.
According to the Hubei Forestry Bureau, In 2015, the
annual production of wood-based panel in Hubei was 7.5million m3 and the output
was about 44.8 billion CNY, consumed about 10 million m3 wood raw materials. The annual demand of wood in the 13th Five Year is
expected to be 13 million m3 in Hubei. The forestry and wood industry in
Hubei enjoys a long history, through half a century of development, Hubei
emerged a number of outstanding companies led by Fuhan。
HUBEI FUHAN INDUSTRIAL (GROUP) DEVELOPMENT CO., LTD. (FUHAN) established in 1956, predecessor for HUBEI TIMBER GENERAL INC. Now,

prospect of Wood industry, and also discuss the possibility of further
cooperation about trade and invest. Fuhan will make every effort to work
