Now, it’s a subsidiary of HUBEI UNITED INVESTMENT GROUP, the member of Hubei Forest Industry Promotion Association, HUBEI forestry industry key leading enterprise, and deputy-chairman unit for China's Forestry Industry Association. In 1991, the first blockboard in China was made in FUHAN. In 2012, the international freight rail transportation of “Han Xin Ou”was opened by Wuhan Municipal Government. It symbolized Wuhan's participation in national strategies of “One Belt and One Road”, Yangtze River Economic Zone and the construction of the Asia-Europe Economic corridor. The channel of international freight transportation starts from Wujiashan Centra Rail Station in Wuhan, via Manchuria/Alashankou to Kazakhstan, Russia , Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic and to Hamburg/Duisburg in Germany, with a total length of 10,324 Km. It connects Central China to Middle Asia, Russia and Europe. In comparison with river-ocean multi-modal transportation, the lead time has been reduced up to 30 days when using “Han Xin Ou” .To the radius of 1200 Km, the “Han Xin Ou” covered 90% GDP area and 85% population of P.R.China.
By operating the international freight rail transportation of “Han Xin Ou”, the traditional export and import structure that mainly depends on coastal cities of eastern China has been changed; the construction of the channelized logistical network and hub has been accelerated; the bridge of economic and cultural communication with the countries along the way has been built. For Wuhan and Hubei, “Han Xin Ou” is the pioneer of Hubei's “Open to the West”strategy and the integrated logistical hub. It also reflects Wuhan's determination of implementing our national strategies. The opening of “Han Xin Ou” has laid a solid foundation for Wuhan's roles on being the international logistics center, international shipping and trading center, as well as the globalized commerce cluster.

Swedish Wood is a department within the trade organization Swedish Forest Industries Federation. Swedish Wood is supported by the Swedish sawmill sector. Swedish Wood spreads knowledge, provides inspiration and encourages development relating to wood, wood products and wooden buildings. The goal is to increase the use of wood in Sweden and in selected international markets through information and inspiration. Swedish Wood also aims to highlight wood as a competitive, eco-friendly and sustainable material.
World-wide, Sweden is the third largest exporter of sawn timber. In Europe, the Swedish sawmill industry holds a prominent position, as the second-largest producer and the largest exporter of sawn softwood. The Swedish sawn timber is consists mainly of two conifer species: pine (Pinus sylvestris) and spruce (Picea abies). Swedish wood is used for furniture, floors, wall panels, mouldings, windows, doors, outdoor decking and as a construction material.
Sweden is the third largest country by area in Europe. 70% of Sweden is covered with forest. Swedish pine and spruce are slow growing. The rotation period of the forest varies from 65–110 years depending on the geographical location. All Swedish timber comes from sustainably managed forests, where every harvested tree is replaced by several new planted seedlings.
The Pallet Professional Committee of China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (hereinafter refer to “Pallet Committee”) is the only industrial organization of the pallet industry in China and an agency established within the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing.

WOOD FROM FINLAND program is part of the bio-economy′s national growth program. Sawn timber is Finland′s fourth biggest export product. Through this program the Finnish sawmills would like to introduce themselves to entire Chinese timber trade and further processing industry, present its possibilities and offer new opportunities for long term business.
Finland’s positive wood balanceenables the sawmills to increase their production in the coming years. For time being 10 – 20 percent of the production capacity of sawn timber is not utilized. Finnish wood is slowly grown, durable, straight grained and visually beautiful even for the most demanding visible end-use purposes. Finnish forests are sustainably managed and are part of the PEFC-certification system. This is extremely valuable for the final consumers of timber products and their growing awareness of environmental issues.
The production of the 20 sawmilling companies participating in WOOD FROM FINLAND program corresponds to half of the Finnish sawn timber production. All of them are interested in developing the business in good partnership with Chinese timber importers, distributers, and industrial customers.
