Heikki has 20 years of experience and training in the wood industry sector. He has hands-on experience with sawmills and timber trade companies in Finland, Germany and the UK. Heikki joined Pöyry after he completed his M.Sc.(Eng.) in wood technology. At Pöyry Heikki has specialised in wood products markets, industry and technology. Since 2005, Heikki has worked in the London office, where he has completed numerous assignments around the world within the wood products sector, both for traditional and new wood products. In total, Heikki has carried out valuations, technical assessments or due-diligences of over 50 production facilities, and visited over 150 facilities around the world.
