Rick
Jaccard, Vice President, Marketing and Sales, TimberWest Forest Corp.
Mr Rick Jaccard is currently representing
TimberWest Forest Corporation located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
and assumes the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. TimerWest is a major supplier of logs to
Asian markets from Canada and is the largest private timber owner in Western
Canada. Rick is a graduate of the University of British Columbia in the Faculty
of Forestry and is a Registered Professional Forester. Having over 30 years of
forest industry experience in British Columbia, Rick has held a variety of
posts ranging from harvest engineering and planning to managing timberlands
operations. Most recently Rick has taken
on his current role and heads TimberWest‘s log sales and marketing team
focusing primarily on log sales into China, Japan, Korea and the US. That
combined with domestic log sales, Rick’s group is responsible for the sale of
over 3 million m3 of softwood logs annually.
