After the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with China Wood Importers Committee (CWIC), the organizer of the 5th China Global Wood Trade Conference (GWT China), Pöyry Management Consulting（Pöyry）is now the international co-organizer of the 5th GWT China. Pöyry will assist the CWIC in making the conference program and inviting the speakers.

The cooperation between GWT China and Pöyry dates back to 2014, when Mr. Andrew Crisp, Senior Consultant at Pöyry Management Consulting, made a presentation on the tropical natural forest investments in South America during the 4th GWT China, which was highly regarded by the participants.

The 5th GWT China will take place in Shanghai, China, from 15 to 16 September 2015, following the remarkable success of four previous conferences. GWT China is an annual event where global wood traders meet in China. Every year, it attracted about 350 participants, including representatives of outstanding companies and trade associations, government officials, leading experts and representatives of international organizations from more than 20 countries.
