Jan Söderlind is the Chairman of European Wood and the International Director of Swedish 

Wood.(Swedish Wood is supported by the Swedish sawmill sector, and it is a department 

within the trade and employer organization Swedish Forest Industries Federation.)

Jan Söderlind studied at the University of Uppsala in Sweden, where he graduated with a 

MBA in International Economy1991.

From 1991 until 2002, he worked at Graningeverken AB as Marketing Director.

He was managing director of the Nordic Timber Council over the years 2002-2006.
