Zhao Jun, a senior engineer with a doctorate degree from Beijing Forestry University, has twenty-year working experience in timber industry both at home and abroad and has conducted post-doctoral studies in Tsinghua University and China Building Materials Academy.

Zhao Jun had served as technician, section chief, division head in forest product quality supervision department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China-Russia Trade Center and Inner Mongolia Forest Industry Corporation. Currently, he serves as the market director of Beijing New Material (Group) Co. Ltd., board member of Timber Importers and Exporters Sub-committee of China Timber and Wood Products Distribution Association, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Chinese Red Wood Committee of China Timber and Wood Products Distribution Association, Executive Director of China Structural Wood Material Committee, and member of expert committee of National Development and Reform Commission. He has published more than 20 articles in magazines of building material and timber science, which includes 5 SCI articles. In addition, he owns 4 national invention patents and has conducted numerous national research projects.
